With disposable cameras, throwback energy, and a whole lot of school pride, alumni didn’t just reminisce—they stepped up for today’s students.

Led and organized by SFUSD alums Jordan Wilson, Kanani Lowe, Michelle and Ashley Monterrosa, Liam Calanog and Ariana Wilson, over 100 SFUSD alumni came together to support the next generation—rekindling lifelong connections to their hometown school community while investing in the future of our city. A special shout-out to El Rio for hosting and SFUSD alum, DJ Baghead, for keeping the energy up all night.

The night was pure magic:

New bonds built on shared SFUSD stories
Old friends reconnecting
Laughter, dancing, and real joy
And a deep, visible love for public school

From the first song to the last, one message rang clear:
SFUSD alumni show up with heart, community and action.

This is what alumni leadership looks like: giving back, lifting forward, and modeling what it means to belong to something bigger than yourself.

The energy in that room was a glimpse of what’s possible when we organize alumni not just as graduates—but as champions for the next generation. And this is only the beginning...

When alumni invest in today’s students, they send a powerful message to the entire city: San Francisco’s public schools are the heart of our City. It takes all of us to keep them strong.
